Barry the Banker – Character Insight
I created Barry the Banker as part of my Canadian Trades/Professions Character Challenge. Bankers are a very important profession in Canada because they look after our finances.
Barry the Banker is super smart and has a big dream: to be the boss of a bank one day. Barry grew up in the busy city of Toronto, where he learned all about money. Even as a kid, he knew that saving and watching money grow was pretty cool.
Barry’s got a big job in Storyland. He’s the go-to guy for money advice. He tells his friends how saving now can make their future awesome. Barry thinks being smart with money is a big deal, and he’s right!
Barry’s not alone in his money adventures. He lives in the heart of Toronto with his family: his wife Susan, and his kids, Barry Jr., Lacey, and Stephen. They love the city buzz just as much as he does.
So, if you’re ever in Storyland and want to know about saving or investing, Barry’s your man. He’s always happy to help, and who knows, maybe you’ll start dreaming big like him too!
