Jayden’s Happy Summer Garden
It was a warm summer day. Jayden was sitting in her garden enjoying the slight breeze. Jayden loved her garden.
It is where she goes to enjoy life, to enjoy peace and quiet.
“Oh look,” said Jayden. “A squirrel!”
Jayden watched as the squirrel ran from tree to tree, trying to find food. Jayden enjoyed watching the squirrel. The squirrel picked an acorn from the base of one of the trees. He ran away in delight. He was very happy.
Soon, a chipmunk came along. He was very excited and very curious. He was running through Jayden’s flowers, smelling them. Jayden laughed at his antics.
Once the chipmunk left, Jayden saw a robin fly down into the soil. She watched as the robin saw a dew worm. The robin started pulling the worm out of the soil. It was so much fun to watch. The robin didn’t give up and Jayden saw the robin fly away with the worm in her beak.
“It is no wonder I love my garden so much,” said Jayden. “It brings me such joy.”
