Skinny Matilda Says “NO”

“Oh that is pathetic,” said Skinny Matilda, as she walked on the beach in her bikini. “Why is Timothy staring at me? He wanted nothing to do with me when I was fat but now that I have lost all this weight, he won’t stop staring at me.”

“Would you like me to tell him to stop?” asked Harold, Skinny Matilda’s friend.

“I don’t think he will stop if you ask him to,” said Skinny Matilda. “I will have to tell him to stop.”

“Do you think he will listen?” asked Harold.

“Probably not,” said Skinny Matilda.

“He is still staring at you,” said Harold, looking over toward Timothy.

“Well,” said Skinny Matilda. “Not for long.”

Skinny Matilda stormed over to where Timothy sat.

“Stop staring at me,” yelled Skinny Matilda. “You wanted nothing to do with me when I was fat.”

“You have lost a lot of weight,” said Timothy. “Would you like to go out with me?”

“You know,” yelled Matilda. “I wanted you to ask me out when I was fat and all you did was ignore me.”

“Well,” said Timothy. “Now is your big chance.”

“No,” said Skinny Matilda, walking away. “I will never go out with you.”

“Last chance,” said Timothy.

“I said no,” said Skinny Matilda. “And no means no.”

“Good for you,” said Harold. “I am proud of you.”

“Thank you,” said Skinny Matilda.

“Would you like an ice cream cone?” asked Harold.

“I would love one,” said Skinny Matilda.
