Thankful Thomas Movie – Chapter 14

The movie for Thankful Thomas is based on Chapter 14 of his story in Storycraft. Thomas wakes on Thanksgiving morning to a disaster—a turkey frozen solid as river ice and no time left to thaw it before his guests arrive. With only hours to spare, he turns his kitchen into a frantic workshop, hauling in an old copper washtub, breaking the bird into pieces with his scarred hatchet, and cycling hot water until every part finally softens. The turkey is saved, but not its grandeur; the carved pieces will feed the crowd, yet they lack the centerpiece splendor his guests expect. As the sun rises and the clock ticks toward midday, Thomas must find a way to turn a pile of thawed parts into a feast worthy of the table’s heart.
