Quebite Movie – Chapter 2

The movie for Quebite is based on Chapter 2 of his story in Storycraft. Quebite spends the chapter desperately trying to hide the torn dirt trail leading to his secret stone door, gathering pine needles from a hollow stump and spreading them over the exposed earth until the path blends into the forest floor. When a stranger arrives and begins tracking the thinly covered trail, Quebite hides inside the stump and watches in terror as the man follows the line up the hill—only to lose it completely where the fresh needles mask the dirt. After the stranger leaves, Quebite finishes concealing the trail, only to realize he has created a new one: a bald, scraped patch around the stump and a faint line of his own footsteps leading straight back to his hidden home.
