George Bumblebee Stories

George is a male bumblebee with a serious research habit. Before picking his target, he studied three hives, checked colony collapse records, and read up on rainfall patterns. He spent two seasons learning tropical hive architecture, focusing on humidity tolerance, comb density, and ventilation. He also has three contingencies ready for rival colonies, though he wrote the third one at 2am and does not trust it. His navigation is poor. Last Tuesday he flew into the same tree twice. Now he is heading deep into the rainforest to crown himself the new queen of an abandoned hive.
