Ethan Greywater Movie – Chapter 12

The movie for Ethan Greywater is based on Chapter 12 of his story in Storycraft. Ethan brings Margaret the pressed flowers and recovered memories she longed for, but before she can move on, she asks the painful question that has haunted them both: when he pushed her on the night she died, was he trying to save her or get rid of her? Unable to answer from uncertain memories, Ethan searches the old haunted house and discovers a faded letter he wrote when they married, promising to protect her from harm. The letter unlocks the truth he had forgotten: on that tragic night, he had reached out to shield Margaret from danger, but his desperate attempt went wrong and led to her death. Showing her the letter, he finally proves the sincerity of his love and his lifelong remorse. Margaret forgives him and invites him into the light, but although her forgiveness heals their relationship, Ethan discovers that something deeper still binds him to the haunt, preventing him from passing on.
