Squishy Squashy is a translucent blue blob with big eyes, tiny limbs, and a visible red heart. He lives in a serene oasis filled with soft sand, deep blue rivers, and cacti. He adores the rain and is irresistibly cute, especially when he jiggles with laughter. One day, driven by curiosity during a dry spell, Squishy Squashy ventures beyond his oasis and finds himself in the bustling City of Storyland. Everything is new and fascinating to him. There, he meets Beatrice Bee, who tries to sting him—but it only tickles, making him laugh adorably. Beatrice is charmed by his innocence and joy. Though Squishy Squashy wants to return to the oasis, he realizes he has no one waiting for him there. Instead, he chooses to stay in the city and build a new life with his newfound friend, Beatrice.
