Shaggy Dog Movie – Chapter 1

The movie for Shaggy Dog is based on Chapter 1 of his story in Storycraft. Shaggy Dog can’t resist a giant mud puddle, but his long white cords of fur soak up water like a mop, leaving him shivering, exhausted, and too heavy to climb out. When he drags himself to the ranch porch, Joseph finds him soaked and freezing, gently dries each muddy rope of fur, and trims the longest cords so they won’t drag him down again. Feeling lighter and warm at last, Shaggy Dog spins in a happy circle—yet the wide, dark puddle still glistens in the yard, tempting him with all the messy joy he loves most.
