George the Woolly Caterpillar Stories

George is a woolly caterpillar living in the wild green valley, a place with hundreds of different plants growing in it. His older brother once dared him to taste a leaf from every plant there. George finished the original dare faster than his brother expected, then kept going. He chewed his own list into a piece of bark, scratching in each plant name as he went. His brother counted the names twice. So far there are 47. Stinging nettles grow in the valley, and George has heard the warnings, but he still means to taste a leaf from every plant.
