Meet Fred the Firefighter

Welcome to the “Meet Fred the Firefighter” page. I created Fred the Firefighter as part of my Canadian Trades/Professions Character Challenge.

Firefighters are very important in Canada. They risk their lives every day they are at work to put out fires in our homes, workplaces and other buildings.

Fred the Firefighter is from Kelowna, BC. He has wanted to be a firefighter since he was little. When he was little, he had seen a firefighter put out a grass fire. That firefighter was the bravest person Fred had ever seen. Fred wanted to grow up and be just like him.

Fred the Firefighter is dedicated to his job. He works long hours and he keeps himself physically fit. In his profession, safety is of the utmost importance and Fred the Firefighter makes sure safety comes first.
