Meet Sammy the Snowplough Driver
Welcome to the “Meet Sammy the Snowplough Driver” page. I created Sammy the Snowplough Driver as part of my Canadian Trades/Professions Character Challenge.
A snowplough driver is an essential trade/profession in Canada during the winter season. Canadian roads and highways can get quite nasty and depending on the severity of the storm, they can be quite dangerous.
A snowplough driver is usually someone that owns his own plough although, most Canadian cities also hire in city workers to look after their roads and highways. Snowplough drivers are seasonal workers and will usually have other jobs during the off season. They will often work long hours and most of their work is done in treacherous conditions.
Sammy the Snowplough driver is dedicated to his work. He goes above and beyond his duties. He owns his own plough and he is trying to maintain his current customers, who adore him but, he is also looking to expand. Sammy will sometimes do small favours in hopes those people will recommend to him to others.
Sammy the Snowplough Driver is married to his wife, Sasha. They have been married for 20 years and have three children, Jason, Johnny and Amy.
