Meet Fred the Farmer

Welcome to the “Meet Fred the Farmer” page. Fred the Farmer lives in Lindsay, Ontario. He is a third generation farmer. His father and his father’s father were all farmers.

Fred the Farmer has taken over the family farm. His dad had just retired and had handed the reins over to Fred. His dad still lives at the farm.

Fred the Farmers family farms a little bit of everything. They have chickens, a few cows, some pigs and some geese. They also have a huge vegetable garden.

Getting up long before dawn and working until well past dusk is something Fred the Farmer enjoys. He did try the corporate life but he just didn’t seem to fit in. He gets more satisfaction from getting his hands dirty with hard physical labour.
