Beatrice Bee is a worker bee. She lives in a bee hive near the coast of the Pacific Ocean, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. There are several hundred other worker bees in the hive that Beatrice lives in.
Life is pretty much routine for a Canadian worker bee. Their main goal is to collect pollen and bring it back to the hive. The pollen they collect is then turned into honey.
Worker bees do not have much time for fooling around. They work and work and work some more. That is not the case for Beatrice, however. Beatrice likes to fool around and she also likes to pester people.
One day, her queen had had enough of her nonsense. She fired Beatrice and banished her from the hive. Beatrice actually liked this idea. It was the beginning of summer and she was free to do as she pleased.
Beatrice flew around Vancouver and she came across Storyland. She found out that there are a lot of characters that she can pester and annoy. Beatrice found that she was in heaven and she loved her new home and her new friends very much. Her new friends weren’t quite as receptive as she was though. They didn’t like being pestered. They didn’t want to tell Beatrice that she is annoying because they are actually afraid of her. They know Beatrice could sting them and they did not want to get stung.
