Maisy the Massage Therapist – Character Insight

I created Maisy the Massage Therapist as part of my Canadian Trades/Professions Story Challenge. Maisy has a superpower: she can make people feel better with her magical touch!

Maisy and other massage therapists are health heroes. They help everyone feel their best.

My best friend is also a massage therapist. She works super hard and loves making people smile and sigh with relief.

Did you know being a massage therapist is like being a learning superhero? You get to go on learning adventures, discover new massage moves, and bring joy and comfort to those you help. It’s a career full of happy endings and big thank-yous!

There was a time when Maisy didn’t know what she wanted to do with her life.. Then, her dad hurt his shoulder, and a massage therapist helped him feel so much better.

Seeing her dad’s pain go away, Maisy’s heart lit up! She knew she wanted to be a massage therapist too. So, she learned all about massages, opened her own clinic, and now, she’s a healing hero!

Maisy loves her job because she gets to see the magic happen – people come in with ouchies and leave with smiles. And that’s the best feeling in the world for Maisy!
