The word “Railroad” …
“Railroad” refers to the set of tracks a train travels on. I have written several stories that contain the word “Railroad”. You will find samples of the way I used the word “Railroad” in some of my stories.
- Unlucky Uncle Ungus – “Why did I ever agree to work on the railroad?” Unlucky Uncle Ungus thought to himself as he poured over his old photo albums.
- Summer Vacation with Puddles – They also enjoyed seeing an early morning train running down the railroad track and were very excited to see a coyote standing boldly in a field across the highway from them.
- Billy Troll Goes Back to School – “Daddy worked on the railroad,” said Dianne, sadly.
