Annie Leprechaun Finds a Four-Leaf Clover

“It is St. Patrick’s Day,” said Annie Leprechaun. “I need to find some good luck today. I am a leprechaun so I do think I can find some good luck.”

Annie has been having a lot of bad luck lately. She stepped on a nail and she stepped on a cats tail. She was able to notice the cat and was able to get her foot out of the way but, she did have to have a tetanus shot when she stepped on the nail.

Annie went for a walk and she came across a field full of clover.

“It would be nice if I could find a four-leaf clover,” said Annie. “That would give me good luck.”

Annie got down on her knees and searched for a four-leaf clover.

“So far I am only finding three-leaf clovers,” said Annie.

Annie saw a rabbit munching on some clover. She saw the rabbit pull out a clover and start chewing on it.

“Wait!” cried Annie. “Is that a four-leaf clover?”

“Yes,” said the rabbit. “It is.”

“Could I have it, please?” asked Annie.

“I took a bite of it,” said the rabbit, handing it to Annie.

“It does still have the four leaves on it,” said Annie. “Thank you so much. Now, I will be able to have some good luck.”

“I am glad,” said the rabbit.

Annie was very happy and she had the best St. Patrick’s Day ever. She had no bad luck for the rest of that day.
