Happy Heart at the Bakery

Happy Heart knew it was Valentine’s Day. She had to get to Storyland so she could spread her love and happiness to everyone.

Once at Storyland, Happy Heart saw a bakery. She sensed that someone was unhappy inside the bakery.

“Can I please have ten loaves of bread and two blueberry pies?” asked a customer.

“Look,” yelled the baker, behind the counter. “I will get to your order once I get through the other twenty orders ahead of you!”

“I can see why they call you Angry Baker,” said the customer.

“Angry Baker,” said Happy Heart, walking over toward the counter. “I am Happy Heart.”

“I don’t care who you are,” yelled Angry Baker. “I am under a lot of stress. I have a ton of Valentine’s Day orders to complete.”

“I think you will want to hear what I have to say, “said Happy Heart. “I am here in Storyland to spread love and happiness to every one on Valentine’s Day.”

“That is very nice,” said Angry Baker. “However, I don’t know how that is going to help me.”

“Try to smile at your customers instead of yelling at them,” said Happy Heart.

“I would like two dozen Valentine’s Day cupcakes,” said the next customer.

Happy Heart smiled at Angry Baker. Angry Baker couldn’t help but smile back. He then smiled at the customer. He didn’t feel as stressed as he had been.

“Thank you,” said Angry Baker. “I do feel much better. I don’t feel as stressed.”

“I am so happy,” said Happy Heart. “Now, I wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day. “I have to go spread more love and happiness around.”
