Snow Fairy has a Cold

Snow Fairy has a Cold …

“It is so very cold,” thought Snow Fairy, wrapping a big blanket around herself and adding a log onto the fire.

Snow Fairy sat down in her chair and she started to shiver. She wrapped the blanket around her tighter. No matter what she did, she just couldn’t get warm.

“Oh Rambler!” cried Snow Fairy, when she saw her friend, Rambler Rabbit, on her front porch. “I am so glad to see you.”

Snow Fairy let Rambler Rabbit into the house. He saw right away that she was shivering.

“Why are you shivering?” asked Rambler. “It is so warm in here.”

“I don’t know,” said Snow Fairy. “I just can’t get warm no matter what I do.”

Snow Fairy started coughing and sneezing.

“It appears you have a cold,” said Rambler. “I will take care of you.”

Rambler made Snow Fairy a bowl of hot chicken noodle soup. It felt good on Snow Fairy’s throat.

“Thank you Rambler,” said Snow Fairy, once she was feeling better. “I really appreciate you taking care of me.”

“That is what friends are for,” said Rambler.

“I don’t know what I would do without you,” said Snow Fairy.

Rambler started to sneeze and then he coughed.

“You aren’t getting rid of me yet,” said Rambler.

“It is my turn to look after you,” said Snow Fairy.

“Yes it is,” said Rambler, shivering.

Moral of this Story:
