Mountain Kid is Thankful for the Mountains

“I am so full,” said Mountain Kid, getting up from the dinner table. “That was the best Thanksgiving dinner I have ever had. I think I need to go for a walk.”

Mountain Kid stepped out of his cabin and the cool autumn air felt good on his lungs. He walked along the pathway that took him to a trail out in his backyard.

Mountain Kid stood at the edge of his backyard and looked up. He saw the peak of the mountain, right in front of him . It was covered in snow. It was one of the most beautiful sights Mountain Kid had ever seen and he was very lucky to be able to see that sight whenever he wanted to. All he had to do was step out into his backyard.

“I am very thankful for the mountains,” said Mountain Kid, marveling at their beauty. “What a beautiful sight!”
